Work with IBExpert software in a virtual environment

The ESYE contains the following components: IBExpert IDE, IBEScript.dll, IBEScript.exe and the BackupRestore Scheduler.

License Conditions and product description ESYE:

• 1 * IBExpert activation for 1 Server, location-independent, valid for 12 months
• No hardware-related activation
• Only one active instance of a virtual machine is permitted when the installed IBExpert software is started.
• The components IBEScript.exe and IBEScript.dll can be started during runtime on the activated virtual server instance as often as required, but not on multiple virtual instances which have been copied or run in parallel by other methods.
• The IBExpert IDE ibexpert.exe may be started on the activated virtual server instance in the terminal server environment in a maximum of 4 processes concurrently.
• IMPORTANT!: There is no unlock procedure: If the virtual machine with the activated IBExpert version needs to be replaced by another machine, a new ESYE must be purchased for this machine.
• Includes all updates for 12 months

To license the IBExpert Enterprise Server Year Edition ESYE we kindly ask you to fill in the IBExpert Year Edition Corporate Information in the IBExpert Download Center. Enter all information about your company / group of companies in full, as well as all locations with addresses, and do not forget to check the box I confirm the accuracy of the above information and agree to immediately notify IBExpert of any changes before saving. Please update your data regularly, preferably once a year. Further information can be found in our online documentation.

Please note the following:

In the event of justified suspicion of misuse, IBExpert shall be entitled to inspect the start log of all servers on which IBExpert software is used.
By purchasing this software product, the customer/licensee explicitly grants IBExpert permission to view the IBExpert log files by remote service.

Price per activation per year 669 €.
Activation for multiple years is possible and is taken into consideration when activating.

• WICHTIG!: Es gibt kein Unlockverfahren: Wenn die virtuelle Maschine mit der aktivierten IBExpert Version durch eine andere Maschine ersetzt werden muss, ist ein Neukauf der ESYE für diese Maschine erforderlich.

Bei begründetem Missbrauchsverdacht ist IBExpert berechtigt, das Startprotokoll sämtlicher Server, auf denen IBExpert Software im Einsatz ist, einzusehen.
Durch den Kauf dieses Software-Produktes erteilt der Kunde/Nutzer IBExpert explizit die Erlaubnis, die verwendeten IBExpert Protokolldateien per Fernwartung einzusehen.

Preis pro Freischaltung pro Jahr 669 €
Eine Freischaltung für mehrere Jahre ist möglich und wird bei der Aktivierung berücksichtigt. 

License Conditions for the IBExpert Developer Studio Company Year Edition:

A license is site-specific, i.e. the IBExpert software may only be used at a single site.

For companies with several locations, 1 license for each location is required.

Installation and operation of the IBExpert software is not permitted on any customer hardware.

IBExpert software may only be used on hardware owned, rented or leased by the Licensee.

The IBExpert software may only be used by employees of the Licensee on hardware, which is the property of the Licensee.

The installation and running of the IBExpert software only applies to the company's registered locations.

The installation and operation of the IBExpert software is permitted for a maximum number of employees at this location in accordance with the license model (S-XL).

The license is valid for 12 months. At the end of the 12 month period, the license expires automatically and requires a completely new activation of the software product.

For licensing purposes, please complete the IBExpert Year Edition Corporate Information in the IBExpert Download Center.

The IBExpert Company Year Edition cannot be licensed for a company group, but can be licensed for each company in that group.

• Hardware-independent activation, i.e. if the virtual machine is transferred to another host, the script engine will continue to run without re-registration.
• An unlimited right to use the software activation on the registered machine.
• Includes: IBEScript.exe, IBEScript.dll, hkSCC.exe, the IBExpert Backup/Restore Scheduler and the IBExpert Encryption Plugin on Win32/Win64.
• The Server Tools must be downloaded and installed within 12 months, after we have activated the IBExpert Server Tools in your customer account in the IBExpert Download Center. Please pay attention to this period, especially if you have purchased a Server Tools package with multiple activations.
• Transfer to another (physical or virtual) machine is not possible.
• In virtual environments only 1 instance may be active per IBExpert Server Tools activation.
• 1 IBExpert Server Tools activation is required for each copy of the virtual machine on which the Script engine is to be used.
• The Server Tools include a single one-time download. Further unlock codes are not available following installation of the Server Tools.
• You may also purchase the IBExpert Server Tools from us and resell them on to your end customer or pass them on free of charge, if they are to be used on your customer's hardware. All the above rules remain applicable.

Please note that we cannot offer any software subscription services as the Server Tools include only a singular activation.

The IBExpert Server Tools do not include the IBExpert IDE.

All functionalities of the IBEBlock scripting language, for example, metadata and data comparison, multiple database access, etc. are also available. Details of the individual tools can be found here.

• Sie dürfen auch die IBExpert Server Tools bei uns einkaufen und an Ihren Endkunden weiterverkaufen oder kostenlos weitergeben, wenn diese auf der Hardware Ihres Kunden eingesetzt werden soll. Alle oben aufgeführten Regeln gelten weiterhin.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir Ihnen keinen Software Subscriptionsservice anbieten können, da die Server Tools eine einmalige Installation beinhalten.

Die IBExpert Server Tools enthalten keine IBExpert IDE.
