IBExpert VAR License

The IBExpert VAR (Value Added Reseller) License entitles you to circulate IBExpert and any of the IBExpert modules included together with your own software to your customers. It also includes an IBExpert Site License, allowing IBExpert to be installed on all workstations at a single registered company location.

The VAR license allows distribution of the following IBExpert modules: IBExpert IDE, IBEScript.dll, IBEScript.exe and IBEBackupRestore.

The VAR License entitles unlimited installation of the IBExpert IDE together with your own software. Important: you are only entitled to distribute IBExpert together with your own software to your customers if your VAR License update entitlement is still valid (12 months following date of purchase). To extend the update period for further 12 months (1 year period) or longer, you will need to purchase IBExpert VAR License Software Assurance.

Download information for customers:

Please look at your most current license email for the download locations of the distributable modules.
Important: Only the most recent IBExpert versions should be used with the new Firebird and InterBase^Ž versions. This not only enables proper use of all functionalities but also avoids any problems which may arise due to the API and functional changes in the database engines.

IBEScript.exe and IBEScript.dll included in IBExpert installer will only be deployable on a licensed machine. The distributable version of both IBEScript modules which require no registration must be downloaded separately from the path quoted in your license email. All other distributable modules such as the IBExpertBackupRestoreService, etc. can be downloaded from the download locations detailed in your license email.
